Come and learn the life-changing art of bullet journaling, the mindful productivity technique that changes how we live for the better at our very first evening event!
Self-care isn’t just about facials and scented candles. For some of us it’s about getting organised, getting creative or just taking time to focus on our plans.
Fancy seeing how simple paper and pens can help you keep on top of your busy home/work life, increase your productivity, and make you happier? Join self-confessed lifelong stationery addict, multiple business owner and mother-of-three-under-nine Cate Hamilton to see how bullet journalling has saved her sanity, and how this easy activity could save yours!
Cate’s Bujo101 sessions are a crash course for complete beginners or those wishing to dedicate a bit of mindful time to the analogue revolution. You don’t need to be remotely creative to participate in this therapeutic and life-changing workshop: come with your diaries and calendars, a head full of lists, scattered projects and half-thought-out plans, and leave with your new bullet journal skills to make it all better. It’s the perfect way to start living intentionally and mindfully, without feeling constantly overwhelmed by the pace of modern life.
Tickets cost £30 and include a journal to take away that is set up for you to use straightaway and use of Cate’s stationery stash to get creative (washi tape, pens, etc). Bullet journalling is a completely bespoke, mindful, and intentional activity. Cate says that it has really changed her life and she’d love to help you see how it could work for you. Up for it?
Why is this event in the evening?
We get asked, approximately once a week, whether we are going to run events outside of working hours. Lots of women who came to our events during their maternity leave have now returned to work and can’t make a Wednesday morning anymore. So, as promised, we will be running some evening events too this year!
Can I bring my children?
Learning the art of bullet journalling requires a certain amount of concentration and focus – not so easy with whirlwind toddlers around! You are more than welcome to bring your babes-in-arms if you would like to but hopefully the start time of 19:30 will allow you to get your little bundles down to sleep before you sneak out to play with stationery (and wine…)
Do I need to be artistic?
Nope! Bullet journalling is all about the practical – the creative is purely optional!
Will there be wine?
The bar in My Coffee will be open so you can go to town. Wine, beer, gin, coffee – whatever gets your organisation juices flowing!
Where is MY Coffee?
Our daytime events are normally held in the Function Room at The Wheatsheaf on Old Bath Road. It’s the perfect place, with all the space we need for playing toddlers, wriggling babies and mums to drink their coffee. Without the small people however, we thought we’d try somewhere a bit cosier. My Coffee is an independent family-owned and run coffee house, set up to bring artisan coffees, good food, and a laid back, comfortable atmosphere to the heart of Bath Road, Cheltenham and we can’t wait to hang out there for the evening.
