Get the whole family involved in environmental action
Book NowKeep Leckhampton Tidy
No one likes to see litter; it harms the environment and it endangers wildlife.
Join us for a Saturday morning clean-up as we walk from Pilley Bridge to Naunton Park, collecting litter as we go! Help make Leckhampton clean and safe for everyone.
“The huge strides we need, to create the clean parks, beaches and streets that we all want to see, will be made up of small individual steps – picking up a single piece of litter could be your first step.” Keep Britain Tidy
We will be leaving from The Wheatsheaf on Old Bath Road at 10am and making our way (via the footpath through Pilley Bridge Nature Reserve) to Naunton Park for refreshments. The route is suitable for pushchairs.
This event is for the whole family – furry friends, toddlers, teenagers – the whole lot!
Bags, pickers and gloves will be provided. Please wear sensible footwear.
There will be a safety briefing ahead of the event but please be aware of hazardous items. Litter can be contaminated, please avoid picking litter by hand, use the pickers provided. Do not disturb animals or damage plants. Please also note that we do not have any certified first aiders on the team. We do have a first aid kit for minor injuries.

So we can make sure that we have enough equipment, it would be great if you could let us know if you plan to attend. If we don’t hear from you, we may not be able to provide you with pickers or bags.
