treat yourself this Valentines’

We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Neal’s Yard consultant Katie Chapman to host our Valentines’ Skincare Workshop. In the past, she has joined us at our pamper parties offering amazing facials, but this time, we are getting hands on and learning the tricks of the trade.

Katie will be taking us through a simple skincare routine with easy tips for looking after yourself and your skin when you’re a busy mum. It’s a stuggle to take off your make-up some evenings, so lengthy nighttime routines are often a stretch, but as a mum herself Katie knows all the quick and efficient techniques.

With lots of lovely products to try and samples to take home it’s a lovely way to get to know the beautiful Neal’s Yard skincare collection. To make it an extra special pampering experience, we’ll be serving delicious homemade cream teas too…fancy!

Are they organic?

Neal’s Yard Remedies are pioneers in certified organic beauty and health, having been certified by the Soil Association since 1991. They only use natural, organic and ethically sourced herbs, botanicals and essential oils free from harmful chemicals. No parabens and no synthetic colours or fragrances.

Where are Neal's Yard products made?

Every one of their products are handcrafted at their eco-factory in Dorset, England. They make their products in small batches to ensure they are as fresh and effective as possible. Their production team fills, labels and packages our products before checking every bottle, jar and tube by hand to ensure quality and consistency.

Are they an ethical and sustainable brand?

At The Motherhood Society, we try our best to bring you local, ethical and sustainable businesses and Neal’s Yard are no exception. In 2014 they became the first health and beauty brand to receive 100/100 for ethics by The Ethical Company Organisation. They recently celebrated their 10th anniversary of becoming the first UK high street retailer to be certified CarbonNeutral®, having offset their greenhouse gas emissions every year since 2008. They are aiming to become a Net Positive business that benefits all aspects of environmental, social and economic sustainability.
