The language we use can have a huge impact on those around us.
While practicing hypnobirthing during pregnancy, I started to use positive affirmations related to birth. Getting yourself into a positive mindset is the key and having little reminders around really helped.
So, when I started creating these Self-care Cards I knew I wanted to collaborate with an amazing HypnoBirthing practitioner to design some cards for mums to use during pregnancy and birth.
Introducing The Beautiful Birth Club’s Beccy...
My name is Beccy, I’m 37 and used Hypnobirthing for my two babies. I had two very different experiences, one of which was less than positive. I trained to teach Hypnobirthing in 2018 and started The Beautiful Birth Club earlier this year with The Calm Birth School who’s values really align with my own. I have had some amazing feedback from the families I have worked with so far. My aim is to take fear away and replace it with knowledge, confidence and excitement. I want to help women and their partners emerge from birth feeling nothing but strength, love and positivity. I want to help more people work towards experiencing a birth that is positive, not perfect.
Together we have created a set of 25 affirmation cards perfect to be used during pregnancy and labour. They have been specially chosen to support mothers during this particularly difficult time and have taken into consideration the impact of Covid and are mindful that women are spending some of their labours alone.
Each pack contains 25 recycled cotton cards with hand-drawn designs perfect for carrying around with you for when you need them, packing in your hospital bag or putting up around your home.
